Wage Scale Increase
Please remember that the wage scales will increase on June 1, 2016. Please consult your wage scale booklet, the members' section of the website, or contact the Local if you need more information.
Last month we began
contract negotiations with Palm Beach Opera for a successor collective bargaining agreement. Our current contract expires at the end of May 2016. We are assisted by AFM Symphonic Services negotiator Todd Jelen, and five members who are tenured musicians with PBO (the "orchestra committee") are also participating in negotiations.

The District of Columbia Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals has upheld the NLRB ruling that
Lancaster Symphony musicians are employees and are therefore eligible to organize for union representation, possibly ending the nine-year dispute.
