Call for Committee Members

Are you interested giving your opinion and helping direct Local 655's activities? If so, we need you to serve on a committee! We have committees covering all areas of work. If time is an issue, your level of participation can be tailored to the amount of time you have to give, and many committee activities can be done online. We need you! If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact office@afm655.org. We look forward to hearing from you!

2018 Annual Dues Due in January:

Please send your checks before the end of January to avoid late fees or suspension of membership. You may also make semiannual payments by paying half in January and half in July. Please contact the office if you have questions, and please send checks to:

12/01/17 That Union Thing

SAG-AFTRA has settled three unfair labor practice charges against Telemundo. As a result of the settlements, Telemundo will classify telenovela performers as employees and not independent contractors, will end the practice of preventing performers from talking about their wages and working conditions and speaking negatively about the company, and will remove contract provisions preventing performers from filing charges with the National Labor Relations Board.
