The National Labor Relations Board has issued new rules requiring employers to post notices about
employees' rights to unionize under federal law.
Starting November 14, employers will need to place posters on employee bulletin boards with information on unionization, similar to the notices they are already required to post regarding minimum wage, job safety, and equal employment.
Broward School teachers have a new contract which gives them a $500 bonus and a guarantee of no unpaid furlough days. With the agreement, the district will now be eligible for $30 million in Race to the Top grants.
