The band will travel to Lincoln Center in May to compete for the top prize and the chance to perform with Jazz at Lincoln Center artistic director Wynton Marsalis.
The Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach has debuted their new Campus on the Lake, a $20 million cultural center. The new center resides in a renovated 1929 Palm Beach School District building and includes an apartment for an artist-in-residence and facilities for classes, lectures, and performances.
Revenue for Live Nation increased by 8 percent since last year. Concert revenue was up by over 10 percent, due in part to a slight increase in concert attendance.
