Are you Getting Your Pension??

Did you just get your annual statement from the Pension Fund? Wonder what it all means? Think something is missing? Let them know!

All work done under AFM contracts that include pension should appear on your annual statement. Please note that generally pension is based on scale wages, which means that the wages listed on the report may be less than the gross amount you were paid for that year.

Sometimes money gets miscredited. Perhaps the employer is not a signatory and the Fund cannot accept the money. Sometimes the employer may even be delinquent in Pension contributions. If you think there may be an error, mail a written notification to the Fund, including the following, if possible:

employer�s name

dates of engagements

scale wages

contract numbers or copies of contracts

leader/contractor�s name

copy of paystubs

Are you interested in a free 30-minute consultation? Mr. Murphy states that many problems can be solved in that time, and if not, the lawyer will be able to tell you the extent of your problem and how much time will be involved. And any time needed after the free 30 minutes is at a 30% discount.
