Trustee's Report
The International Executive Board has approved my recommendation to terminate the trusteeship of our Local and by the 21st of May National President Steve Young will have installed our Officers. We have proven that this Local can be a viable service organization dedicated to its members. Congratulations to all of you and thank you for giving me the support and opportunity to do this.
I have turned the Local over to its Officers, Board and Staff, very confident that this Local will not only be here for as long as there is a Federation, it will continue to keep growing as well. I will remain for a short time, on a limited, part-time basis, acting as an advisor, and to finish the restructure of the Electronic Media and Live Performance departments. The Electronic Media department should come together very quickly. Even when I am no longer in the area, you can be assured that you will still have any support needed, via telephone, fax and computer.
I will also continue my research in the area of live performance. The Local has the basic foundation for the referral system and is looking for staff to continue its expansion.
It is time for me to move on to my other work with the Federation. This past year and a half you have all made me feel welcome and comfortable. I wish I had the opportunity to know more of you even better.
