New Staff

Please welcome Margaret Butler-Padilla and Sharon McDermott to the office staff. They will be sharing the position of Office Clerk, and one of the two of them will be in the office daily between 11am and 3pm.

New Hours

M-F 11-3 and by appointment

There will be someone in the office before and after these hours, but please direct all calls between 11a.m. and 3p.m., when there are more staff on hand to assist you. For emergencies after hours, please call President Graves’ cell phone at (954) 295-6098. Thank you!

Life Member Notes

Another meeting of the Miami Area Life Members Association was held at the Local on Wednesday, May 5. Twenty-six life members attended, including benefactor Rick Ricciardelli. Also in attendance were Board Member Guy Scafati and former 806 Vice President John Serrentino, as well as the MALMA committee members Alan Kole, Mike Selker, Al Golden, Ralph Porras, and Jim Szereto. Members talked about old times as well as discussed the possibility of an Inactive Life Member category, reductions in dues, and work dues. They also discussed holding the next meeting in West Palm Beach.


Student/Youth Membership Categories

Please note that anyone under the age of 21 and any student under the age of 25 can join South Florida Musicians Association at a reduced rate. If you have nonmember students or colleagues who fit this profile, please tell them the advantages of membership and have them call us!
