Kevin Jefferson Appointed to Executive Board

Kevin, a member since 2000, was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Executive Board. "I know that as far as the clubs are concerned, collective bargaining doesn't exist as long as there are musicians who will undercut each other and as long as there are agencies that represent both the Artist and the clubs and get paid on both ends. I believe that if the musicians that have built the club scene down here stop selling each other out and cooperate, we can make a decent living wage. I will do everything that I possibly can to increase our membership and to get the good news out there about the Union and our local and our leadership."

New Member Orientations

Orientation Meetings for new AFM members are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM at the Local 655 offices in Hollywood. Current members are also invited to attend. Come meet our new members, talk to the officers, learn more about benefits!
