Jazz Scholarships Available
Gold Coast Jazz Society announces that the application deadline for the annual Jeanette M. Russell Jazz Scholarship Fund and Competition, awarded in memory of Lady Jazz and “St.Louie” Ray, is February 1, 2007.Scholarships are available for qualified students who are Florida residents:
- Summer Music Camps Scholarships (Grades 6 – 11)
- College Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors studying music with jazz emphasis
- College Scholarships for college music majors with jazz emphasis
The Jeanette M. Russell Jazz Scholarship Competition will be held on March 10, 2007 at Dillard High School (2501 Panther Lane, Fort Lauderdale, FL ).
