That Union Thing

The New York Times has reported that the wage gap between America's richest and the poorest is the widest it has been since 1928. While productivity has risen 70 percent since 1979, most of those gains have gone to the richest 1 percent of Americans.

Another Argument in Support of the Employee Free Choice Act

Workers at the Trump Plaza Casino recently and overwhelmingly voted in a National Labor Relations Board supervised election to be represented by the United Auto Workers. However, Donald Trump is delaying the recognition by challenging the election results on the grounds that because a majority of employees signed union representation cards they were unfairly biased in favor of the union. They will not be able to bargain for a collective bargaining agreement until the election challenge is resolved.
