Membership Meeting Announced

Proposed Amendments to the Bylaws:

Resolved, to amend Article V Section 2. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES as follows:

a. Annual dues for Regular and Student Members shall be $148.00 $166 per year.
b. Annual Dues for Youth Members shall be $80  $98 per year.
c. Annual dues for Life Members shall be $98.00  $116 per year.
d. Annual dues for Inactive Life Members shall be $68.00 $86 per year.

Resolved, to amend Article V Section 3. WORK DUES as follows:

A. Members shall pay work dues on musical services performed within the jurisdiction of the Local as follows:

1. Engagements working under a collective bargaining agreement: 3% 3.25% of scale wages
4. All other engagements: 3% 3.25% of scale wages

The Bylaw Committee reports unfavorably on both and proposes the following substitute recommendation:

a. Annual dues for Regular and Student Members shall be $148.00 $160 per year.

b. Annual Dues for Youth Members shall be $80  $90 per year.

c. Annual dues for Life Members shall be $98.00  $100 per year.

d. Annual dues for Inactive Life Members shall be $68.00 $70 per year.
