- The NWS will communicate to fellows a new policy that they should abide by Union Scales when freelancing.
- The NWS will communicate to fellows a new policy that requests/inquiries for contracting of large engagements/ensembles shall be referred to Local 655.
- First-year fellows will be required to attend an annual AFM presentation, which will become a more comprehensive educational seminar.
At the negotiations table the AFM was represented by Laura Brownell (SSD Director), Debbie Newmark (SSD Electronic Media), Tom Fetherston and Carla Lehmeier (ROPA), Brian Rood (ICSOM), Jeffrey Apana and Holly Ballard (Local 655), and AFM Counsel Trish Pollach. We wish to thank the AFM for their support during these negotiations.
