Miami Music Project Announces Auditions

The Miami Music Project is a new ensemble model whose primary activities will be education and community engagement. Under the Artistic direction of James Judd, MMP will begin its work in the fall of 2009 and each year the project culminates in a festival of performances at the Adrienne Arts Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Miami. At this time we are pleased to announce the following openings:

In the first year compensation will be $18,000 plus health insurance and benefits and in year 2 of the program this is anticipated to rise to $34,000.

Auditions will be held in Miami in May and at satellite venues during April.

Has a firm date for the Los Angeles audition been decided?
No date has yet been set, but you can apply online at their website and they will contact you when a date is set.
I recently completed my studies towards a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance at the University of Texas at Austin, and have moved back to Miami. I am very much interested in auditioning for a chance at becoming hired as a violinist for the Miami Music Project. I have lots of credentials, and can email or fax my resume to you. Please let me know more information about the audition date (in Miami), times, audition excerpts list, etc. at your earliest convenience.

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Please contact Miami Music Project directly, as we are not involved in scheduling auditions. Their contact information is on their website http://www.miamimusicprojec...
Thanks.
