Request for Help for Nashville Musicians

Due to recent floods, musicians of Nashville are facing millions of dollars in losses from damaged instruments and recording equipment, and the AFM has established a relief fund to assist them.

The mayor of Nashville has estimated that losses due to the flood will exceed $1 billion. In addition to destroyed instruments, musicians are also facing loss of work due to flood damage. The AFM created the Musicians Disaster Relief Fund after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and the Fund will now be used to assist musicians in Nashville. All of the contributions collected by the Fund will go directly to musicians.
