New PBO Contract Ratified

Musicians of the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement.
The new three-year contract is retroactive to June 2010 and runs through May 2013. Terms of the agreement include increases in the pension contributions to 10.4 percent on June 1, 2010 and to 10.9 percent on April 1, 2011, to comply with the AFM-EPF Rehabilitation plan, and wage increases of one percent in the first year and two percent in each of the final two years. The Local wishes to thank AFM Symphonic Services Director Chris Durham for his assistance with the negotiations.
