Stagehands have finally ended their 12 year battle with the Kravis Center.Members of IATSE staged an unfair labor practice strike, which forced the cancellation of 3 performances of Jersey Boys at the Kravis Center. As a result of the strike, Kravis Center has finally agreed to a new contract with the stagehands, restoring unfairly fired stagehands and paying over $2 million in back wages.
Palm Beach County teachers will receive their largest raises in several years under a new agreement with the school board. Starting teacher salaries will rise $678 and returning teachers will see raises of $1500 on average.
