First United Methodist Church of Boca Raton is accepting applications for a part-time organist/pianist/choir director for their west campus church location. VACANCY: First United Methodist Church of Boca Raton is accepting applications for a part time organist/pianist/choir director for their west campus church location. This person must be accomplished in introducing and leading the congregation in hymns and choruses from either piano or organ as well as rehearsing and directing a small vocal ensemble and accompanying soloists on occasion. They are also responsible for planning and preparing service music in conjunction with the pastor. The candidate must also be consistently engaged in practices of spiritual formation with a desire to continue to grow in their relationship with Christ. The position requires a two hour commitment every Sunday as well as two services on Christmas Eve.Salary negotiable.
