Member Profiles

Why did you join AFM Local 655?

Being given my first opportunity to work as a professional union musician in south Florida in 1975, I still believe that it is essential for musicians to be members of the AFM in order to secure professional compensation, pension benefits, superior working conditions and recognition for their years of training and artistic talent. Even today, I strongly believe there is no better professional organization for musicians that the AFM union. I am proud to say I have been a member throughout my entire musical career.
