Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 13-3, April 11, 2013 at 11:oo AM at Artserve

Meeting called to order at 11:14 AM. Present: Clippard, Kolcz, Apana, Bermann, Van Eck; absent: Corcillo, Holstein, Stanley.

MMC to approve minutes of March 1, 2013 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on annual audit; upcoming MPTV negotiations; and sending intent to bargain notice to PBO.

President's Report: Clippard reported on preparation for BAA ratification; discussions with IATSE for a PBS protest.

Report of Committees: Kolcz reported on the 100th Anniversary Promo event.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule next meeting for 5/20/13 at 11:00 AM.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to begin soliciting support for an amendment to the AFM Bylaws allowing a portion of work dues from CBA orchestras in residence to be paid to the jurisdiction of the residency rather than the home Local. Kerley arrived at 12:22 PM.

MMC (moved by Clippard) to promote D Cully Patriotic Program materials for use by our members.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of 100th anniversary events. Discussion of NWS/MCB joint program and joint programs between professional organizations and educational institutions. Clippard departed for jury duty at 12:52 PM, at which time Kolcz assumed the chair.
