Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 13-5, June 7, 2013 after membership meeting, at Artserve
Meeting called to order at 12:17 PM. Present: Clippard, Kolcz, Apana, Bermann, Holstein, Stanley, Van Eck.
MMC to approve minutes of May 22, 2013 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on expulsions for nonpayment of dues.
President's Report: Clippard reported on calling suspended members; meeting with BAA later to review rosters.
Bermann arrived at 11:36 AM.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule meeting for 8/16/13 at 11:00 AM.
MMC (moved by Apana) to postpone discussion of FGO lawsuit until Kerley arrives.
New Business: Discussion of 100th anniversary; MMC (moved by Apana)
to request the committee prepare an events proposal to be reported at
next Board meeting. Kerley arrived at 12:55 PM. Corcillo arrived at
12:58 PM.
MMC (moved by Apana) to compile a list of local musical organizations
for internal purposes. Discussion of FGO lawsuit. Holstein departed at
1:41 PM.
MMC (moved by Van Eck) to pursue FGO lawsuit to trial.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of news article on SOA financial
irregularities. Discussion of future joint programs between MCB and TCO.
