Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 16-2, 28 March, 2016, at Local 655 Offices

Meeting called to order at 7:03 PM. Present: Bertolet, Satterwhite, Apana, Dixon, Reskin, van Eck; Kleiman, Michels absent.

MMC to approve minutes of February 18, 2016 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on correspondence from AFM re recording negotiations; MPTF re funding levels; Broward Arts Council re economic impact study; DMA re convention resolutions; Manley re Zelda tour. Apana reported on the amending of the FGO lawsuit.

VP Report: Receipt of written report. Satterwhite reported on discussions re BAA parking reimbursements being taxed; questions about PBO work dues checkoff. Aron arrived at 7:25 PM.

Satterwhite reported that Turley is paying higher wages to Kravis theater musicians. He reported on discussions with Festival of the Arts management re the hiring of the Manicini Institute: the Fesitval paid $25,000 and the students received an additional $200; Lynn students were also hired but it is unknown yet what they were paid. Satterwhite reported on being deposed for the FGO/PBS ULP and receiving forms for backpay claims.

President's Report: receipt of written report. Bertolet reported on FGO/ULP, on being deposed, and speaking to Skolnick/SSD re the charges. Bertolet also reported on NWS fence negotiations and speaking with NWS fellows.

Committee Reports: none.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule next meeting for April 13 or 14 at 1pm, pending availability of missing Board members and Artserve.

Unfinished Business: MMC to schedule Membership meeting, followed by Board Meeting, for May 12 or 19 at 10am, pending availability of missing Board members and Artserve.

New Business: none.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of SFS unpaid wages.
