Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 16-4, 14 April, 2016, at Artserve
Meeting called to order at 1:04 PM. Present: Bertolet, Satterwhite,
Apana, Aron, Dixon, Reskin, van Eck; Kleiman, Michels absent.
MMC to approve minutes of March 28, 2016 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
suspended members; meeting with Riblett and scheduling of meetings with
Kaye and Ellert.
VP
Report: Satterwhite reported on late BRPS payments for Mizner festival;
complaints from FGO musicians re shortended breaks and unpaid OT; PBS
rehearsing at NWS because they hired many UM and NWS students; SFS
paying musicians on time for final program of season; discussions with
HMI students.
President's Report: Bertolet reported on meeting with Riblett.
Bertolet cautioned the Board about public statements made as
representatives of the Local and on keeping confidential information
private.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule next meeting for June 8, 9, 15, or 16, pending availability of absent Directors and Artserve.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Aron) to send letter to Kings Academy
regarding paying union scale for ringers. MMC (moved by Reskin) to make
wage scales publicly available.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of Space Coast Symphony unpaid wages.
Discussion of upcoming Paul Frank visit. Aron departed at 2:22 PM.
