Meeting called to order at 12:05 PM. Present: Bertolet, Satterwhite, Apana, Kleiman, Michels, Reskin; Dixon absent.
MMC to approve minutes of May 12, 2017 meeting. Van Eck arrived at 12:09 PM.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
Banos being placed on Unfair List; status of charges against Melamerson
and Pietreszko; being invited to AFM Leadership Training in July in
Madison; receiving reports and billing for OPO Bocelli concert work
dues; members expelled for failure to pay annual dues; musicians
receiving additional session payments when previously released tracks
are remixed; correspondence from AFM re appointment of Manley as
Organizing Director and resumption of TV negotiations.
VP Report: receipt of written report. Satterwhite reported on BAA negotiations. Aron arrived at 12:19 PM.
President's Report: receipt of written report. Bertolet reported on BAA negotiations.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule meetings for July 14 at noon and August 24 at 2 PM. Satterwhite departed at 12:30 PM.
New Business: MMC (moved by Bertolet) to appoint Michels Election
Committee. MMC (moved by Apana) to instruct attorney to send letter to
KCO re YouTube videos.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of status of wage payments to SFS and FGO
musicians. Kleiman noted that he spoke to IATSE re issues at Kravis.
