Meeting called to order at 1:55 PM. Present: Reskin, van Eck, Apana, Aron, Corey, Fuller; Aron, Bravo, Folse absent.
MMC (moved by Apana) to make BAA Hiring List approval a special order for 1:55 PM.
MMC (moved by Apana) to approve BAA hiring list changes proposed by
BAA. Extensive discussion of relationship with BAA OC. Apana to notify
BAA about approval of list and remind them that all contractual matters
must be addressed with the Local, and Reskin to reach out to OC.
Aron departed at 2:52 pm.
MMC to approve minutes of July 25, 2018 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
communications from Durham re PBO grievance and negotiations; Kaye re
Salute to Vienna contract. Apana reported on hearing about a number of
churches and choruses offering significantly low pay to musicians.
VP Report: van Eck reported on talks with SOA musicians.
President's Report: Reskin reported on talking to P Graves re potential new members.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of SFS, MISO, OM unpaid wages. Discussion
of large acts that hire local musicians touring in south Florida.
