Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 23-10, December 20, 2023,
Virtual Meeting
Meeting called to order at 12:35 PM. Present: Reskin, van Eck, Apana,
Aron, Corey, Fuller, Kleiman, Proctor; absent: Bravo. Also
present as guests: Hawley, Kostic, Williams.
MMC to approve minutes of November 15, 2023 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
correspondence from IRS re: payroll tax refund; BAA musicians re: late
payment of wages. apana reported on problems with email servers.
VP
Report: van Eck thanked the Board and noted that she will remain
available if she can be of service.
President's Report: Reskin congratulated the newly elected officers.
Committee Reports: Apana reported on election results.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for January
24, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Kleiman departed at 12:54 PM. Williams departed
at 12:55 PM. MMC (moved by Corey) to adopt 2024 operating budget.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Corey) for Board members to develop
action items for a musician survey prior to the next meeting. MMC
(moved by Apana) to have the Board create a list of items for a QR code
page on the website by the next meeting. van Eck departed at 1:28 pm.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of moving website to new server and what
content to bring over.
