Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 24-2, February 23, 2024,

Meeting called to order at 11:03 AM. Present: Hawley, Apana,
Aron, Corey, Kostic, Reskin, Proctor, Williams.
MMC to approve minutes of January 24, 2024 meeting. Fuller arrived at 11:05 AM.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
correspondence from AFM re BAA negotiators; Kaye re Salute to Vienna
pension; Broward Arts re Black History Month events; two members re
lack of AFM liability insurance. Apana reported that up to 36 members
may be suspended for failure to pay annual dues. Apana reported on
survey results and issues emailing survey notice.

President's Report: Hawley reported on making connections with democratic organizations.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for March 27, 2024 at 2 pm. Discussion of committee appointments.
Unfinished Business: MMC to schedule membership meeting for April 15, 2024 at 12:30 PM.
New Business: MMC to have all officers boost survey response by
forwarding, sharing, liking, posting, etc. link over the next month,
and to review results and formulate a plan of action at the next
meeting. MMC (moved by Corey) to develop a podcast to feature members'
music and talk radio about issues of concern for musicians. MMC (moved
by Apana) to renew fgomusicians.org domain for one more year.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of FGO orchestra and status of Oliva
contract. Discussion of reaching out to TMA re theater negotiations.
