Executive Board Meeting Number 99-7, 16 December 1999

Meeting called to order at 11:45am. In attendance: Lisa Fox, Jeffrey Apana, Leslie Bahler, Guy Scafati, and Randy Singer. Board Member-elect Tim Barnes was also present.

Minutes of 10/14/99 meeting read and approved. New member applications read and approved.

Discussion of Atlanta Ballet, Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Opera, PTG, and Miami Chamber Symphony situations led by Jeffrey Apana.

Vice President's Report given by Lisa Fox. Over $780,000 in contracts have been filed so far this year.

Treasurer's Report given by Apana. The Local is within budget for 1999 and the 2000 budget is currently being revised and will be presented for Board approval at the January 2000 meeting.

Old Business: progress report given on potential Geico discount.

New Business: discussion of Standing Committee assignments. Discussion about forming a payroll company. Discussion on creating a promotional flyer.
