Meeting called to order at 2:41 PM. Present: Hawley, Fuller, Apana, Aron, Proctor, Williams; Bravo, Corey absent.
MMC to approve minutes of September 25, 2025 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, finance report, and new members.
Apana reported on the Small Locals Committee Convention proposals;
changes to the AFM Unfair List policy; IRS refund status; upcoming
attendance at Broward State of the Arts. Apana reported on membership
rolls and 2025 profit and loss. Kostic arrived at 2:45 PM and left at
2:50 PM.

Report: Fuller reported on cartage issues at SFS. Kostic returned at 3
PM and noted that SOA checks are late and musicians have not received
countersigned contracts.
President's Report: Hawley reported on conducting Brews and Bylaws
meetings and meeting a contact at the Democratic Socialists of America.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for November 18,
2025 at 2:00 PM. MMC (moved by Aron) to approve monthly financial
report.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Fuller) to file exemptions for Workers Comp policy and/or cancel policy.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of appointing union stewards,
including their role, policies, and protecting them from management
punishment. Discussion of purchasing AFM 655-branded pencils.
Discussion of publishing symphonic newsletter on website.
