Meeting called to order at 3:09 PM. Present: Hawley, Fuller, Apana, Corey, Proctor, Williams; Aron, Bravo absent.
MMC to approve minutes of November 18, 2025 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, finance report, and new members.
Apana reported on correspondence from Union First re: employee
assistance programs; Bloom; AFM re SRLA negotiations. Kostic arrived at
3:14 pm.
VP
Report: Fuller reported on three musicians whose PBS pay had been withheld being paid.
President's Report: Hawley reported on Oliva harassing musicians;
MCB reduced Nutcracker orchestration issues and lack of a paid audit
for scheduled subs.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for January 29,
2026 at 2:30 PM. MMC (moved by Corey) to approve monthly financial
report. Motion by Apana to approve 2026 operating budget; Apana
reported on ways to balance the budget going forward; the motion
carried.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to approve promoting Union First
as a partner. MMC (moved by Apana) to request that MCB musicians be
paid for auditing services and that doubling be paid for covering
additional parts due to reduced orchestration.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of strategic plan. Fuller departed at 4:30 pm.
