Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 26-1, January 29, 2026, Virtual Meeting
Meeting called to order at 2:36 PM. Present: Hawley, Fuller, Apana, Corey, Kostic, Proctor, Williams; Aron, Bravo absent.
MMC to approve minutes of December 15, 2025 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, finance report, and new members.
Apana reported on correspondence regarding AFM organizing department
staffing and IR visit. Apana reported that this is an election year for
the Local.
VP Report: none.
President's Report: Hawley reported on attending the PBOOMA meeting and
election of the PBOOC. She reported on cold weather reported for the
upcoming OM concert and recommended that temperature language be
included in our wage scales.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for February
25, 2026 at 12:00 PM. MMC (moved by Corey) to approve monthly financial
report.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to add a clause to the wage scales
(or propose a wage scale amendment, dependent on authority) specifying
that musicians shall not be obligated to perform when the temperature
is below 62 nor above 86 degrees.
Good and Welfare: Discussion of contracts and musicians accepting
treatment or uniting and making demands. Discussion of recruiting.
Apana and Fuller noted parking concerns and issues at the recent PBO
production. Williams noted his outreach regarding Venuology, and Apana
noted that he would reach out to SOCO Locals regarding Venuology.
