Erin Gittelsohn received her BM in performance from the Eastman School of Music where he studied oboe with Dr. Richard Killmer. She received her MM from the University of Maryland as a student of Dr. Mark Hill. She received her DMA from The Catholic University of America. A member of the United States Air Force Band, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia from 1997-1999 and the United States Air Force Band, Bolling Air Force Base from 1999-2002, Gittelsohn has played as a Freelance Musician in the Washington, D.C. area from 1999-2008 and is presently living in the South Florida area. She has also played with the Shenandoah University Summer Music Festival, the University of Maryland Festival of Chamber Music, the Colorado Music Educators Association and the College Band Directors National Association. She also has extensive recording experience in a variety of styles including classical, Broadway, popular and commercial music.
