Pension Contribution Rate Increased to 9.59% for work under LS1 Contracts
The American Federation of Musicians and Employers Pension Fund (AFM-EPF) has updated its rehabilitation plan contribution rates. For those without current participation agreements that are making contributions through an LS-1 contract, the pension rate will increase from 8.72 percent to 9.59 percent, effective no later than November 1, 2018. This is a 10 percent increase in the contribution rate as required by updates to the rehabilitation plan. If you have a Pension Fund Participation Agreement, the rate will increase at the expiration of your current agreement. Please contact us if you have questions.
