That Union Thing
Staff at WBUR have voted to be represented by SAG-AFTRA.
The union will represent those on the news team as well as those that work on shows such as Here and Now and On Point and those that work in the podcast and production departments. They will soon begin negotiations for their first contract.
Staff at Gimlet Media have voted to be represented by the Writers Guild of America, East. Gimlet produces shows such as StartUp and Crimetown, and was recently acquired by Spotify.
