Last Month at the Local
We had a good crowd at the May membership meeting.
15 members were present to discuss the proposed amendments to the bylaws. Members present unanimously adopted the proposal to allow virtual committee meetings even post-pandemic. With our large jurisdiction and difficult driving conditions, meeting virtually will make it much easier for members to keep in touch and share information.
This month we will have a number of members performing on Make Music Day courtesy of the Music Performance Trust Fund. Randy Singer will be showing passers-by how to play harmonica, and Gary Mayone will be leading would-be drummers in flowerpot performances. Carey Kleiman and Lucian Williams will also be leading their bands. Make Music Day is sponsored by the Make Music Alliance and takes place on June 21 each year.
