Last Month at the Local
Last month we had our first negotiating session with Broadway Across America.
At this point we have only exchanged proposals, so more meetings will follow, but we are hopeful that we can reach an agreement soon. Palm Beach Opera musicians have ratified a COVID safety sideletter for the upcoming season. Musicians will be required to be vaccinated, will be regularly tested, and have an option to take a year leave of absence if they are not comfortable returning to work.
Thanks to the members that attended the membership meeting on November 22. While we did not have a quorum, we did have an opportunity to discuss returning to work and COVID safety protocols.
