All of the casinos on the Las Vegas strip are now unionized. The Culinary Workers Union recent agreements with the Venetian and the Fontainebleau marks the first time in 90 years that the 60,000 members have union contracts at all of the Las Vegas properties.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has terminated union contracts for virtually all of their employees. The move comes after President Trump’s executive order that excludes some federal agencies from labor-management relations programs. Notable exceptions to the order include police and firefighters.
