The AFL-CIO announced at its thirtieth Constitutional Convention that it reached its organizing goal ahead of schedule. In 2022 the labor federation pledged to organize one million new workers by 2032, and it met that goal in only three years. The AFL-CIO has now pledged to organize another two million workers by 2032.
