That Union Thing

Mississippi transit workers at JTRAN are on strike. Their contract expired on December 31, and they are fighting for competitive wages and adequate training. They are also fighting against an unfair disciplinary system and the elimination of Saturday service and the implementation of a two-tier system.

Cats: The Jellicle Ball has closed on Broadway. The show was grossing $1 million a week and had seen high attendance, but was still not making enough to cover expenses.
